Starting the day on the right foot.
A winding forty-five minute drive from my hometown is Frenchtown, where a little gem called Lovin’ Oven resides. This farm-to-table restaurant serves up breakfast, lunch, AND dinner, and it’s honestly hard to decide which meal they do best! There is really nothing that the Lovin’ Oven can’t do, they even offer a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free option. To them, food is love, and should be enjoyed with everyone and anyone. Their menu changes seasonally, with a few staples remaining throughout the seasons. My favorite special, pictured above, was an apple, brie, and arugula open faced sandwich finished off with a balsamic reduction. If I’m stopping in for breakfast, I always go with the two egg-special with rosemary potatoes and your choice of two sides. I highly recommend the sweet potato biscuit and bacon.
