Just a short walk from the University of Pittsburgh’s campus on South Craig Street in North Oakland is Crêpes Parisiennes, a french style crêpe shop serving up sweet and savory treats. They offer a variety of crêpes, waffles, paninis, espresso, tea and pastries. There is almost always a line, but it is well worth the wait. With an unsuspecting storefront and a minimalist interior, it’s all about the food here. My favorite is a make-your-own style sweet crêpe filled with chocolate and topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. I always say the next time I go I’ll try one of their many savory crêpes, but somehow I always go back to my usual. Give it a try yourself and see if you’re more a savory or sweet crêpe connoisseur. Check out their location, hours of operation, and reviews here.
